Knitting needle cover and stitch marker

I wanted to put my creativity into my knitting needles so this is what I came up with.  I made the covers out of felt and and the stitch markers to match.  I also had a slip cover to go over the needles so that you can see what size they are but I have lost the slip cover.  Now I just have to make covers for the rest of my knitting needles.

Nautical Theme Baby Room

So baby number 2 is going to have nautical theme nursery but instead of buying a new mobile i took the old one apart and then created my own mobile figures to be attached to the frame.  It turned out so cute.

I wanted to hang baby's name above the crib so these are the letters I came up with.  I cut the letters out of cardboard and then covered them all with yarn.  They turned out so cute I might redo my 3 year old's letters too.

Homemade Baby Gifts

It has been a while since I have posted anything on my blog.  But I am going to try and catch up.  My stitch a day did not work out because i found myself busy with work and my now almost 3 year old son.  But recently I have been working on making baby items because not only are my husband and I expecting baby number  2 but I know a lot of women that are pregnant as well.

Any way below are my recent projects.

Below are some teething toys I have made from some unfinished wooden beads and rings so cute.

Below is a pacifier leash I made.  I crocheted the leash using size 10 crochet thread and made my own ribbon rose to go at the top right below the clip.

Below is my favorite project these and little girls hair bows.  I used velcro on the back (just the sticky half).  The velcro holds to the hair and is comfortable on infants heads.
